Rocklin
Academy at Turnstone is now accepting applications.
This position will work with office staff, teachers,
students and the principal.
Duties
Include: Lunch supervision consists of helping
children open packets/containers. All classes have
assigned tables. Students are expected to keep their
own lunch area clean and deposit litter in garbage
cans when they are done. When children are finished,
the school aides dismiss tables, wipe tables off for
the incoming children and supervise the play yard.
Knowledge
of basic first-aid for injured students and patience
while working with children.
Other
duties include photocopies for teachers, copying and
distribution of the weekly school newsletter, maintaining
office supply and paper cabinet and assisting in requested
teacher projects. Lifting not to exceed 30 lbs.
Hours
are 9:45 a.m. to 1:05 p.m.; three days a week.
If you are unable to work on your designated day,
it is your responsibility to find a replacement; either
another yard duty or a parent volunteer. If you are
unable to find a substitute, please call the school
office and notify them.

Always Needed
Rocklin Academy is always in need of qualified substitute
teachers. We pay $100 a day. You must register through
the Placer County of Education (PCOE).
There are two ways to qualify, if you have a teaching
credential or if you have a bachelors degree or higher
from an accredited University and have taken and passed
the CBEST exam. For more information on the CBEST
