Rocklin Academy Board of Directors

Rocklin Academy is organized as a California nonprofit, public benefit corporation (501 C3) and is governed by a Board of Directors pursuant to its Bylaws. The Board is responsible for guiding the Academy in the pursuit of its vision and mission.

Specific to this responsibility, the Board's duties include:

* hiring and evaluation of CEO, Executive Director, or President
* adoption and implementation of the strategic plan
* ongoing evaluation of programs and operations
* approval of annual operating budget

The Board meets regularly to conduct its business. Part of each agenda is an opportunity for public input as well as a report from the Parent Advisory Committee. The Board encourages your attendance and welcomes your input and suggestions on matters relating to the mission and/or operations of the Academy. The Board does not address individual day-to-day issues as these are more appropriately addressed with a child's teacher or the principal. The Board does act as the final level of appeal for complaints.

Standard Meeting Dates and Times
(Special Meetings may occur)

Board meetings will be held the first and third Monday of each month, unless the Monday is on a holiday then the meeting will occur the next Tuesday. Meetings are held at the Turnstone campus beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Board agendas are posted the Thursday before the meeting in the office window at the Turnstone campus.

2008 - 2009 Meeting schedule:

Note: (*) denotes a holiday selecting the Tuesday as the alternate.

November and July have the one meeting scheduled.
