VOLUNTEER HOURS
2007-2008

Each family in Rocklin Academy is required to volunteer 30 hours at the school as outlined in our Parent/Student Handbook. Volunteers can be parents, guardians, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or older siblings (18+), etc. Volunteers can fulfill their requirement in many ways: participating in school fundraisers, helping out in the classroom, chaperoning on field trips, providing office assistance, serving as a PAC officer or on a PAC committee. Volunteer hours are logged by visiting the website www.rocklinacademy.org and clicking on the Volunteer Tracker link.

If you are not able to volunteer, a buy-out option is also available, enabling you to purchase your hours monetarily. If you choose not to participate by volunteering, you can fulfill your commitment and do your part to enrich the comprehensive education your child is receiving at Rocklin Academy by making a one-time donation of $25 per unearned hour. (Example: 30 hours x $25 = $750). Checks should be made payable to Rocklin Academy.

Shown below are the hours earned by the committee chairs. Please remember that the committee chairs have already been selected for the 2006-2007 school year; however, they are always looking for volunteers to help out!
